Minulý rok jsem se pokoušel o změření FTP, moc to nešlo a v prudkém závěru jsem odpadl. To jsem chtěl letos eliminovat, držet nervy na uzdě a nepřijet pod cílové stoupání zničený.

Při studiu literatury - The secret of cycling - jsem našel zajímavý graf závislosti aktuálního FTP výkonu na nadmořské výšce (úbytek kyslíku). Pokud při nadmořské výšce 0 m n.m. je FTP 100 %, tak při výšce 1000 m n.m. je již jen 95 %, v 1500 m n.m. je 92 % a dále to rychleji klesá, ve 2000 m n.m. 87 % a ve 3 km pouze 79 %. Tyto hodnoty se dají trochu vylepšit dlouhodobou aklimatizací.

Tedy i při výjezdu na Benecko se s tím musí počítat, když jsem si FTP měřil v Praze. Předpokládal jsem nějaké zlepšení oproti minulému roku. Nasadil jsem tedy nějaké tempo a při pozorování tepové frekvence a vlastních pocitů jsem se dostal pod závěrečné stoupání s dostatkem sil a pouze na 2 min záverečném kopečku jsem oproti minulému roku získal 17 s. Minulý rok jsem měl čas 21:15 a letošní "zlepšení" je také v souvislosti s novým kolem.
