"Dear forum members, I’d like to talk about the necessity of balancing drive shafts from both a scientific and practical angle. It’s well known, an unbalanced shaft causes vibrations, which can theoretically accelerate component wear. But how much does this matter in real life? Does balancing really pay off considering the cost?"
